Big shout out to Capt Kenny and the Mimi 12/7/18
Hey Guys its been awhile. Just wanted to let everyone know what a class act the Mimi is as most will already know. Reserved a spot in the beginning of the week for Friday's open boat not really knowing how many signed up.
Got down to the boat about 6. Kenny mentioned that we would sail even though we only had 5 guys. 5 guys on a big boat. It was like going on a friend's boat with a couple of people. I almost felt like I should've cleaned either the boat or the fish when we were done lol. Everyone fished hard all day and had a great time. The wind sucked and never let up. I ended up with 4 keepers including the pool fish at 6 lbs. Brandon got a pig at 11lb but lucky being the the mate he forgot to get in the pool  . Definitely a thumbs up to Kenny for sailing with so few guys.

I saw him out there Tuesday with a light load and I was thinking the same thing . Good dude and even if you take a loss for the day people respect it and you get it back in the long run. In a storefront business , you don’t just shut down in a day that u know will be slow . U take the hit bc it’s not about what you lose that day it’s all about that customer finding another favorite store , barber , etc . Most captains don’t see it that way so props to Kenny. Guess that’s why he’s been around so long

Sometimes it pays to go out just to get a report out there , and sometimes capts just like being on the water regardless of the profit ...They’re the guys u wanna fish with

Definitely a class act.... I went out Tuesday December 4th just prior to a surgery on the Barbgail. Saw Kenny sail with a hand full of people that day also. In retrospect I should have went with him..... Not only did he sail with a light crowd, but he made more than a fair share of drops.
