When I spoke with Captain Alan at 11:00 a.m. this morning he said that striper fishing was red hot north of our inlet! There was a lot of action with us having as many as 10-15 on at a time! There were already more than 70 stripers thrown back with some shorts and some keepers on the boat. We came close, if not to having, almost 100 throwbacks and ended up with a couple handful of keepers by the end of the day. The ocean was flat calm all morning with great conditions, bird life and readings, sometimes stacked up under the boat. Overall, it was a great day of action, just not a lot of keepers. Our pool winner was Steven Steele from Croydon, PA.
