![]() ![]() We are having a special trip sailing on Thanksgiving Day for stripers and blues from 6:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Reservations are required and you can make one on our website, www.missbelmar.com, or you can call the office at (732) 681-6866 or (732) 681-0030. SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 17TH Today, we started off where we left off on Wednesday to the north of Shark River Inlet to no avail. There was very little bait or bird life and no fish. We ended up going out to the east and found a couple big fish, however, we were more than 3 miles off so we had to throw them back. We then went back inside the 3 miles, way up to the north on the beach and found some bird life and fish but it was very slow. We ended up with some nice keeper stripers, a couple of bonus fish and a bunch of throwbacks but overall it was a tough day. Our pool winner was Andre Oliveveire from PA with a 23 lb striper. Sailing daily for stripers and blues from 7:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., weather permitting. The Miss Belmar Princess is the largest, fastest and cleanest fishing boat in Belmar. With Miss Belmar's 3 engines and a total of 2,100 horsepower, she is the first boat to the fishing grounds every day and we guarantee it. No other boat comes close. Try us and you'll see why. ![]() Today's pool winner Andre Oliveveire. ![]()

I'm confused....Striper Trip, right? You took the patrons out of bounds (beyond the three mile line) so they had to throw the catch back? I wouldn't have been a happy customer! |

![]() No, they're not but all their reports seem focused on stripers despite their advertising of Stripers and Blues.

![]() If we don't find the stripers along the beach we then go offshore in search of blues. That is when we found the stripers and had to throw them back because we were outside of the 3 miles. Make sense?
