Cold Temp Fishing
Hit the river on Sunday morning, air temp was 29 and the water temp was 40. Guides on my fly rod were icing up, not sure I'm ready for the cold. I witnessed a deer swim across the river for the 1st time ever. It was about 50 yards downstream from me. The deer walked up to the river, drank and then started walking in. Guess it hit a hole because at one point just the head was above water.
I managed to pick up 2 nice browns and a rainbow while fishing streamers. Here is some trout porn for you to enjoy. |
