[Needlefish]

No bass yet but some blues were around.

Fished a few hours late afternoon around high tide. Not much bait visible and no schools of feeding fish. Caught one small fluke on teaser and two blues around 2 lbs on Deadly Dicks. Lost a few others in the wash which is fine with me - - enjoy the fight and avoid damaging fish. Tried Storm shads for a while, no luck except one bit off tail.

On one cast a seagull flew into my line, got tangled for a second then my line broke. Probably lost about 100 feet of line and my lure. Weird. Half hour later I was casting in the same area again and thought I hooked some light debris. Turned out to be my lost line. Retrieved it hand-over-hand and got my lure back.
