![]() Davy Jones has been carefully prowling the shallows (some nights he even doesn't fall in) looking for stripers, or whatever. Kidding aside there have been some fish around and the fly rod guys have been having a go at it. More and more coming in the shop who are into it. Don't these guys know the coolest way to catch a fish is on a four ounce Hopkins?

![]() Mostly bucktail deceivers like the ones shown. Sometimes a flatwing or Clouser. Davy fishes an 8 and a 9 depending on where he goes and what he's doing.

![]() YES! A lot of time your casting into the dark and just like you said out of nowhere your rod jumps and you have a fish on.
