Thumbs up Thursday on The Fishermen!

Got down to the boat and got all set up in my normal spot nice and early. The harbor was loaded with bunker! They were so thick i was able to snag like 15 of em in 10 mins with a 1oz ball head jig! Haha. Best part was i cut em for small strips and a few butterfly cut incase want to drag and i didnt get a touch with it on! Haha. We headed out and got set up and it was a straight savage bite right off the bat! People were hooked up all over the boat! Capt Ron Santee and Joey Pasculli running all over netting fish!! Few real nice ones came up early too! I couldnt get away from the shorts to start my day! One after another! Finally put some meat in the box second drift. We were on em real good like all morning! It was some real awesome fishing! Capt Ron made his moves and did his thing like always keeping us on the meat. We kinda lost conditions so it slowed down and we moved around but once we got some better conditions we started catching again! Once again it was getting close to the end of the day and i had gotten snagged and broken off so i put on my last FOMF ball head jig thats on its last leg! Drop down and jigging along and i get slammed! Set the hook and knew it was a good fish! Joey was busy in the back so Capt Ron came down and grabbed the net! Fought it to the surface and Capt Ron scooped it up and on the deck it went! Fish weighed out at 6.9 pounds! Second nice fish in a week. Got that 9 on Sunday and this one today! Keeping the streak going! Haha. I got a couple more shorts and then it was time to head in. I ended the day with 4 keepers(only keeping my limit) and i lost count of how many shorts! Over 15 at least! On another note i didnt catch one junk fish! Haha. Have to say thank you to Capt Ron and Joey! Always a great time! See you guys next week.
