The early start gave us very good fishing to begin the day but when the rain came with the wind we had to move to different areas. Conditions kept changing and we had to adjust but we kept finding fluke and sea bass as we moved.

Bait was the answer today with those using it out fishing jiggers big time. When the drift gets fast put on the weight.Some had 15 to 20 shorts while others had limits plus.

Jim Custer from Toms River had a limit + and the pool.

There are a lot of fluke around and the catch depends on conditions.
