BIG BLUES ARE BITING
After some good fishing earlier in the trip, with two to four Pounders, we wound up catching big Blues up to 15 lbs!
I wish we had these fish over the weekend when the big crowds were down, but, we caught them today. Jigs and Crocs both work well.
The big blue fish were on the surface chasing bunker, and quite thick under the boat at times. We saw plenty on the surface and read them good on the scope.
The pool winner was:
Stephen Chesonis from Hopatong NJ with a 20LB Bluefish.
It looks good for tomorrow.
The big Jamaica will be sailing at 7:30 a.m. for Bluefish.
