![]() Fished for Fluke via kayak in the Navesink Thursday morning. Conditions were tough but fishable early but then deteriorated quickly. It was very breezy with wind against the tide. I power drifted with the Wonder Rig with Killies and picked at shorts, around six from 10” to 15”. My buddies in a tandem kayak got 1 keeper at 18.5” plus about 6 shorts. The keeper was caught on a high low rig with Killies.
It went from breezy to brutal later in the morning and we had to call it a day. If you are looking for huge Killies stop by Atlantic Bait and Tackle on Rt 36.
