WATER PROOF May 25 .. Jumbo Stripers and Sea Bass

Yesterday we had AM and PM trips scheduled .. On our morning trip we had the guys and gals from StructureTone out for Stripers with a side of Sea Bass ... day started off good with a nice fish right away. Bite slowed so we made a move and found some more fish. Had several hookups that resulted in dropped fish .. around 8:15am the guys wanted to switch over to Sea Bass. Picked away at them but bites were sluggish for the amount of fish we read on fishfinder. Added a Cod and released a Blackfish but it was generally slow.

On our PM Express Striper trip, we had John Russo and friends out and stopped a little short on some great readings and had red hot action right away with some real jumbos .. three fish over 50" and over 50lbs plus another in the high 40s and one under at 42" .. pics really did not do justice to these fish. As quick as the bite was, it shut off just as quick .. looked around for a few hours and read a fish here or there but never got another bite ..
