Default Silly Seabassing 5-24

After yesterdays smackdown my dad took off of work so he could get in on the hot seabass bite. Had Ed and David meet us at the dock at 530 and off we went. Started right where we left them yesterday and they were waiting for us! Red hot bite on the jigs. A first ever for me, we had 13 blackfish on diamond jigs and deadly dicks today. Thats right.... 13!!!!!!! Some true slobs at that as well. All safely released after a quick photo. We screwed around hopping from spot to spot exploring to see if we could find some hogs, and thankfully we found them! My dad david and ed all had seabass approaching the 4 pound mark. Took me a while to figure out the jib bite, however I was able to snag a couple. We had our 4 man limit tossing back tons of shorts and many keepers that were just over. Ran out to the deep looking for ling and had a nice cod, a dozen ling, and WAAAYY too many eels. Called it a day and now we are prepping for tomorrows fluke opener. Fingers crossed and hoping they are ready to chew.

Had so many fish today that i couldnt keep an accurate count, but we easily had over 300 fish, over 40 keepers ORL , a mess of ling, a nice cod..... A cooler full of tasty fillets.
