Down Deep Fleet - 5/19 & 20 Raritan Bay Striped Bass
Saturday aboard the Down Deep Fleet, one boat took a pass on sailing due to weather. The Bull, with a big crowd of hearty anglers opted to take a late start and get in on the Striper bite, unfortunately not many wanted to play.
Sunday we sailed with great groups of new and returning guys. Fishing was good on one boat, not so good on the other. Hook ups were there, but spit the bit, as well as a huge girl that came unbuttoned near the boat. Fluke fishing seems like it should start off on a good note as keepers are being returned on recent trips, without trying. Friday we will begin our Fluke season  Thanks everyone for sailing with us and all others who continue booking all their Jumbo Seabass, Ocean Trophy Striped Bass, Jumbo Fluke and bottom dweller meat trips going forward at a rapid pace.
