Suffern vs AC Boat Show
Suffern always seems mobbed. Haven't been to AC is 7 years. Is there enough "non boat" related stuff @ AC to keep your interest ? Is there enough interesting stuff in Suffern or is it just socks and pickles ?

Re: Suffern vs AC Boat Show
Been to the AC boat show in the fall and that’s a fairly large show..It’s an inwater show so you’ll see the larger and smaller boats. They also had tents set up outside with all sorts of boating accessories so a good show. Winter show in AC is good as well but I haven’t been in a few years. I heard a lot of the larger boat companies were not there.
Can’t help you with Suffern show since I’ve never been.

Re: Suffern vs AC Boat Show
Vikesdad,
You’ll be glad to know that at last years Suffern ahow, they added a double booth for a perfume vendor! Show Manager Tod Alberto refuses to allow non-profit salt water fishing clubs into the show but perfume and sock vendors are ok. It’s always packed; go Thursday or Friday folks. It’s made up of retailers like Jigging World, manufacturers like Diawa and Canyon Reels, charter guys (Sound Bound, Island Current, Black Hawk), and fishing and hunting lodges in upstate NY and Canada. $2 online coupons |

Re: Suffern vs AC Boat Show
Great, I need some perfume. Something like "Eau du Bunker". Think it'll be a game day decision as to which way the car heads. May double dip in AC with the HS States in Wrestling and the Boat Show a stone's throw away from each other

Re: Suffern vs AC Boat Show
I have not been to the AC show this year yet but have gone most years. Several years back it seemed to really shrink but over the the last few years it has grown each year. I like the show a lot. There's a good amount of stuff other than all the boats to walk on. There has always been fishing vendors, boating gear, clothing and miscellaneous junk. To me it's worth going plus Bass Pro is right there.

Re: Suffern vs AC Boat Show
Just back from Suffern. Light crowds due to the weather, somewhat fewer exhibitors but I enjoyed it. I had the chance to talk to folks I wanted to and met the great Kil Song! The legend himself is probably 120 lbs soaking wet!

Re: Suffern vs AC Boat Show
Ac boat show was great. Parking was horrible. Mobbed due to wrestling tourney n show. Like the fact that fishing boats to yacht ratio much better than ny boat show. Some nice custom rods there, Hanks hot sauce and plenty of nice center consoles to drool over.
