1-28-18 We made out today despite a dismal rainy morning....But unfortunately the fishing was very poor again,,,worse day I have seen yet...Most spots were completely dead..I am glad we are getting some Northeast winds next few days,,hopefully it will mix the water up a little bit cause we need it to get some life going...So no fishing tomorrow,,,I will let you know the next nice to go here on my website...see ya then..

I have to say that I truely appreciate your honest reports and it’s also great to see a boat targeting the winter fishery. Look forward to getting down just as soon as I can. No embellishment from this captain.

Shame really... For so long NJ salt water was a productive year round fishery.

Its now maybe a 9 or 10 month affair, and these captains have to try and stay in business under those conditions.
Hope there are better days ahead for party/charter captains and crews...
