Dan you aren't kidding. Since seabass opened we've literally had 2 fishable weekends - every other weekend it's either been blowing a gale or near a gale. This fall has been bad with weather!

Allen and Dan, couldn't agree with you more. Tough, tough winds putting a real dent here if you know what I mean. Be safe guys.

Keep in mind that colder air has more mass - its heavier and that means it will push the waves higher.

Its the same way upstate in NY.. It hasn't been fishable at all most of the past 2 months.. even on "nice' days, the wind has been howling so bad you can't even take a boat on the lakes.. PLUS, its 10-15 degrees colder here...
Believe it or not, you guys down close to the ocean get a lot more fishable days than we do here every year.. The charter boats in this area are finished for the year usually by October.. Simply too windy for them to sail... bob
