10/21-10/22 Beach and Boat report.....

10/21- hit the Hook at fishing beach and walked north from 7-noon. Threw plugs rubber and metal. Nothing doing. Didn’t see any bait in the flat clam and clear wash. Water still feeling warm. Clam and bunker dunkers only bringing in skates. Went back in the afternoon to walk the dog and saw the same MO. Not much going on at all.

10/22- launched in back to flat calm morning. Worked down the Reach jigging on bait readings with cocktail blues taking ava 007’s. Up to the Knoll and out to the candlesticks the fleet was huge and albies were busting on bait everywhere. Could not get a single hit in 2 hours!!! Frustrating to say the least!! Tried it all and couldn’t get a hookup. Moved out between the channels to play with the porks for awhile. Non stop action on clam on the rough patches. Never anchored as water was flat calm and drift slow. Took a slow ride in finding another pod of cocktails around West Bank. Beautiful weather weekend. Wish I coulda put my kid on his first albie. Let’s see what the weather change brings. Coming outta KMB for first time in awhile .....thought new bridge would be higher?
