Default Prowler5 - Mon., Jan. 2nd - Rainy Tog Report

Hey gang, Capt. Scott here. Me, Marko and Zavier had the boat out today on a rainy Monday with the wind blowing out of the east. Wasn't sure if we were going to get out today, but we actually had a pretty decent crowd of regulars and Capt. Hal of the Sea Tiger sent his people over today. Started out slow, only had a few fish on our first drop. Made a second drop that was no good. But found the tog on the third drop. Didn't have to go that far - a mile and a half. They were biting, keepers and shorts. Our regular, Chris, in the port corner stern got his limit with four nice ones. Donnie and his buddy, the sharpies from Brooklyn boated five nice keepers. Pea Shooter had three nice keepers. Some with one and two and some with none. We were also out yesterday, New Year's Day. Fishing was just so-so. Nothing great to report about yesterday. Very few boats out today. But it was certainly fishable. Here's a few pics from today and two of the photos are from yesterday. We will definitely not be sailing tomorrow (Tues.) Hoping to get back out there Wed. or Thurs. of this week. I'll give a reply to this report and let you know how it looks. I'm glad the guys came down today on this miserable day. Us and the crew were glad to be out there again. Thx., Capt. Scott Heated handrails, heated cabin.
