Looking to rent a rowboat tomorrow to do some fluking. Any around in the rivers? Shark River, Nav, Shrews?

Yeah fisherman a den in Belmar marina rents em. And they're also a sponsor here. I think it's $40 for the day or something

We are docked there and coming in on Sunday from the ocean I saw many rentals hooked up with short fluke. I saw one that looked pretty close to a keeper in the back part of river. Looked like guys were using light tackle and small jigs, saw guys using just killies too. Conditions matter there, try to go during the week so you don't have he boat traffic or go early, Fishermans Den opens at five. Also fish the tide and channel edges.

Good Luck

Fisherman's Den North in Atlantic Highlands Municipal Marina also rents skiffs.
Nice new ones too I think with 9.9s on them.

You might give them a shot 732-291-1107

First of all, Thanks for all of the suggestions, much appreciated. Unfortunately we decided not to go. We had a short window Friday and felt we couldn't wait out the tide in Shark River (Low tide was at 9:00am). Will hopefully try again this weekend or jump on a sponsor party boat.
