Default Finally some fluke

It's been a tough season for me for keepers this year, although I've only been out a handful of times on boats out of AH. Got to fish with my buddy today, out of staten island, and we did well. We tried ambrose down towards the bridge but it was just ripping too hard, couldn't hold with 12, although I was able to boat a 22" fish while bouncing (felt like it was going to be bigger with that current). Went in closer to shore, drifting from the bridge towards hoffman island, we had action all day, lots of 16-17 inch fish, and 6 others between 18-21. Gorgeous day out there. Now my nephews come in for a 1/2 day sunday and 3/4 on monday. cheers.
