BOUNTY HUNTER - Seabass With The Dave Fleming Charter,. 6/29
Capt. Paul had the Dave Fleming Charter on board the Bounty Hunter on Monday. Rounding out Dave's crew were Andrew, Jon, Matt, Jon & David. Today's early ocean conditions were far from ideal. A crisp NW wind made for a good roll offshore, add to that a strong NE current with a a SE swell and you had conditions that made staying on the reads very difficult. The boys toughed it out all morning until the wind dropped out and the fishing began to improve. They then went on to put 72 nice Seabass on ice along with 10 Ling. It was a tough day with a good crew and their effort paid off. Check the Open Boat Forum for our next scheduled Open Boat Trips.
