Default Lure mystery

anyone else have a crap ton of a certain type of lure that they almost never use? For me it's lipless crank baits/rattle traps...I probably have 20 of them and I've literally caught 3 pickerel and 3 bass on them ever! Haha

Same here! Except, I don't have a crap ton cause I stopped buying them, lol. Never produced for me and I always find a way to snag em up. I'm sure they work, just not for me. I've actually cut down on the clutter in my tackle bag by not "experimenting" as much and stickin with what works most for me.

Except for trout plugs (thanks to NJF). That's something I've never used much but seem to be working quite well so I bought a few.............

I always keep a box of random stuff...sometimes something different can be the difference between a skunk and a fish. Those 3 bass I got on the rattletrap helped me win a local bass contest that particular day...haven't caught squat on them since though haha

For me it's senko-style baits. It's not that I never use them, it's just that over the years I have bought far more than I could used in a lifetime.

Lemme know if you wanna get rid of those traps, Chris! Lol... I have pretty good luck with them. Burn em, rip em, jig em, burn em off rocks etc...
