Anything that takes some of the pressure off scallops will help with the ling fishing. Juvenile ling spend a considerable amount of time early in life sheltering inside scallops. When scallops are harvested unfortunately the juvenile ling are the victims.

I didn't know that thank"s for sharing that. I wonder if any Whiting are in the mix as well. It makes you kind of wonder with those 3" Whiting in the markets that you see.
