Default Two 80 Pound Class Rods (All AFTCO) - $300 Total ($100 price drop)

Dropping the price $100 on this pair of rods to make an offshore fisherman's Christmas complete......

Fall is here and the time has come to complete your offshore arsenal with the right rods to land fish over 200 pounds. I am selling two, non-matching, 80 pound class rods complete with AFTCO guides and AFTCO straight butts that are ideal for the fall canyon, inshore tuna, and daytime sword fisheries. Look at the boats that land the biggest bigeyes and fall bluefins as well as the top Florida daytime sword boats - the one thing they all have in common is that they carry heavy rods designed to land the right bite. I have fished the world from New Zealand to Panama to Prince Edward Island and the top boats that consistently bring in the biggest beasts are those that have the right tackle the capture them - these 80 pound rods will get the job done. At $400 for the two rods you are getting a great deal on getting your arsenal complete.

The rods described below are as follows:
1. One custom rod with a white 80/130 blank and navy blue/cream rod wrappings. The blank is fiberglass and all 5 guides are AFTCO, including the tip. The rod butt is a #4 straight AFTCO butt. The rod was custom built in New Jersey and has received very light use since being built.

2. One Shakespeare rod with a white blank and red/yellow rod wrappings. The blank is fiberglass and all 5 guides are AFTCO, including the tip. The rod butt is a #4 straight AFTCO butt. The rod has received very light use since being purchased.

Both rods have been part of a collection of an owner that has 40 years experience hunting big game.

Total cost for the two rods is $300. Buying only one new 80 pound rod of this quality would cost you between $500-700 depending on the rod builder.

Overall length for each rod is approximately 86 inches.

I am located in Staten Island. Professional shipping for these rods will be approximately $30.

Please reach out to me at stephenjrhodes3@gmail.com with any questions about the rods.

Jump on these before the Hudson Canyon bluefins arrive!!

A 62 inch bluefin was landed in the NJ Mud Hole this week.......Cape Cod is on fire with medium bluefins that will be headed to NJ in the next few weeks....these are the perfect rods to tackle tuna in that size range. Don't be one of the crews that tell the story of being spooled. Land your first bluefin over 60 inches on these rods.

Good luck to all in the fall tuna run. They are here and more are on their way.
