I fished the surf yesterday afternoon after the rain cleared. Bait was all over and the birds were working. Problem I was having was that most of it was happening out of reach (a good 150 yards -200 yards off the beach). I ended up moving around and found a spot on a Barneget Light Beach where I was able to get on a very close sand bar. Caught a lot of smaller blues (4 to 6lbs) using mullet rigs.
