Default Paramount Bottom Fishing Report

100' Paramount Report6/12/13
Capt. Francis Bogan
Sea Bass & Ling

Sunday's trip was a tough one. Conditions were not the best and the Sea Bass just did not want to cooperate no matter where we went or what we tried. We picked a few here and there but they just never turned on like we wanted them to. Fortunately we were able to bang away at some Ling for awhile at the end of the day to help put some fish in everyone's cooler. George Gwenden from Queens, NY won the pool with a nice fat 4+ lb. Ling and had a half a dozen more, Brian Derr from Fleetwood, PA had 20 Ling and a keeper Sea Bass, Craig Growney from East Rutherford, NJ had 10 Ling and Joe Scotto from Staten Island had 25 Ling and a nice Striper!

Monday the Sea Bass decided they were hungry again and fishing was more of what we are accustomed to with mostly Sea Bass and a mix of some Ling. Despite the torrential downpours throughout the day we ended up picking fish everywhere we went (the fish don't usually mind the rain, only the customers do!) Joan Giordano from Parlin, NJ had 15 keeper Sea Bass and 9 Ling, Chris Sookram from Catskill, NY had 10 Sea Bass and 1 Ling, Vernon Williams from Wallingford, PA had 9 Sea Bass and 6 Ling, he also won the pool with a nice fat Ling, Dennis Stock had about a dozen Sea Bass and 8 Ling and Jeffrey Stonson from Ewing, NJ had 11 Sea Bass and 4 Ling.

We did not sail on Tuesday but the boat is out now so I will try to update the report again tomorrow.

We continue to see some Ling mixed in with the Sea Bass.

We are now sailing 7 days a week for Black Sea Bass as our primary target!
