Canyon Season is Upon Us - 70 Degree Water on the Edge

We gave you a 3 week warning the middle of April and we were right - the water is here and it's time to rock and roll. 70 degree water is sitting on the 100 fathom line and that means the canyon season is here.

Several boats (not ours) fished today so you'll start to see the reports flying in and with a huge eddy sitting right offshore of us there will be fish brought back to the docks today!

So this looks like it's going to be a repeat of the 2012 May/June tuna fishing where we caught big-eyes in May and 11 of them by July 5. We also caught hundreds and hundreds of yellowfin before the calendar got out of June.

Remember it's not about the date on the calendar when canyon season takes off - it's only about the water that is sitting out there. And the water is right!

So if you've been waiting to book a date - book now - we don't have a lot left.

These trips start at $3895 for our 48 Viking and are as low as $750/person if you want to book an OPEN BOAT trips with us.

Finally - if anyone books the full boat for a May Overnighter we'll cut a much better deal as we want to get out there as much as possible in May as the yellowfin, bluefin and big-eye will be there - so call and ask about these special rates.
