Default Toggin 4/16

Headed out for the maiden voyage yesterday with my buddy Chris. Left at 10:30 and was back by 4:00. No one had greenies, so we had to clam. Very nice on the water. First stop a little inshore was a dud! Usually good this time of the year, but the water was way to cold. Headed east to a deeper drop where we thought there would have been other boats, but we where by ourselves. Bergall life, then the first nice hit. 28" cod. Stayed their the rest of the day with a few wiggles. In total, 3 keeper cod, 1 keeper black, several ling, and tons of short cod and blackfish. All in all, a good first trip!

Way to go Kevin!! Looks like you are in the alley right? I should be joining you soon. Was hoping to splash this weekend, if not next weekend. See you soon.

Yup! The good old "alley". Can't wait to get in the back again. I did forget to mention that we had very large bass boiling around the boat all day. I'd say 30s and 40's.
