First off I hope everyone is having a wonderful and safe holiday season. I wish everyone the best of health, happiness and tight lines in 2013! 2012 was a great year for Garone Custom Rods! Lots of rods sold, lots of fish caught, lots of new friends, hopefully 2013 will be even better! I would like to thank all of my customers for your business and I hope we can do more soon!

I am pleased to announce some new products I will be offering this year! In addition to building on Seeker blanks I will be offering rods built on United Composites-USA, Lamiglas, Calstar, and Black Hole blanks. I am also planning on coming out with my own line of more affordable custom rods with basic cosmetics. Even if you are not looking to go custom I can get most factory built Seeker and Lamiglas rods if you are looking to go that route.

I am sure most of you are familiar with Lamiglas and Calstar, they have a stellar repulation and have some great actions. The United Composites-USA blanks are the same Graphite USA blanks that I loved so much a few years ago, but the company went under. I was hesitant to build on the new blanks right away because of the prior instability of the company, but the quality of these new blanks are top notch and it looks like the new ownership is going to be around for many years to come. In my opinion these are the best graphite blanks on the market hands down. To help fill the needs of the jigging and popping enthusiasts I will be building on Black Hole Blanks. These are extremely durable, lightweight, powerful and have the right actions for vertical jigging, popping and swimbaits for large pelagics and also bottom fish.
