Default Custom High End Bucktailing Rod

Hey Guys I'm selling one of my classic rods it's a medium action 6'6" rod. I'm not sure of the blank I believe it's to be a shikari blank. The builder uses this same rod for blackback winter flounder & Cod up in Mass. The action is perfect for bucktailing and it was used only 2 times. I'm not even sure if I used it on the last trip I had it with me. I use longer rods I fish mostly on Party Boats so I get very little use out of it & I did not even use it this season. It has 10 including tip Fuji Hardloy Guides, Fuji trigger seat. Also custom cork inlay work as well & a hook keeper at the base of the butt wrap. The picture with the guide makes the rod look more blue than what it is it's more of a deep blue than what's pictured with the guide. I'm firm on my price so no low ballers please the artwork alone is more than what my asking price is. I'm asking $125 a nice looking rod for Christmas if you ask me. I also have a nice reel to go along with it if you want. I'm not that great with the pictures so here's what I got. Call or text me on my cell 917 371 5267 or PM me if your interested.

6 oz. may be pushing it 8 oz. may be a bit much. I never go that heavy with my bucktails anyway. If I need 6 or 8 oz bucktails I rather not bother bucktailing it may be just me 4 oz. is about as comfortable as I feel with bucktailing

Darren

Great pick up as I saw this rod a few years ago at Dougs house. Rod is built by one of the best rod builders out there as his thread art is top notch. The wrapp and cork work is worth more than what you paid. Doug keeps his tackle in very good condition so you will be very happy
