Default Snakeheads Anyone?

Ever since watching the snakehead River Monsters episode i've wanted to catch one myself. I've heard they are in nj and I know how detrimental they are to the ecosystem. Does anyone know where to find them?

Just be careful not to mistake our native Bowfin for the snake head. When in doubt NJ F&W prefers you err on the side of kill. Thats how bad they want snake heads gone.

Agreed. I know they've been caught in Rancocas Creek.

my cousin and I were on the hunt all spring and we saw plenty but they are not as wild as ya think i threw live bait and lures at them I stalked em like i was deer hunting and they watched the bait go by, try deep south jersey any muddy creek that connects to the Dizzle should have em. We have seen them caught alot by guys bowfishing but we cannot get em on hook and line may have to try again now that its cooling down they may put the feedbag on. here is the 1st attempt at the snakeys http://www.njfishing.com/forums/show...ighlight=snake
