Default I have finally made it!

So hello everyone ive been trying to get on here for literally months, but the best thing I could do was stalk threads. I'm willing to bet a lot of people who fish the passaic rivers and surrounding areas have seen me at some point. Ill get around to updating my profile at some point but how about let me start with a report. Hit the passaic on Wednesday and second cast crushed a 4lb smallish below the falls in Garfield.waded the river for another hour or so caught a bunch of dinks on keitechs, husky jerks, and spinners. Lost a beast near the Clifton side in the falls. Haven't caught any pike like the rest of you guys in quite a few weeks. Also hit the two bridges area fished a good portion of it with absolutely nothing except a small crappie. If anyone ever wants to meet up and fish I'm usually up for it work evening shifts so morning fishing and my weekends are best for me. Weekends being Wednesday and Thursday.

Welcome to the boards. I frequent the area you fish as well, both above and below the dam. With the low water, the pike fishing has been slow below the dam. Try above, I got a few up there a couple weeks ago.

How do you guys get across below the dundee dam falls... I was fishing below the dam from the garfield side and I saw people fishing on the freeway side below the falls... Is there anyway to get over there besides walking across the river?

Also, I was looking to the middle of the falls and I kept seeing huge fish attempting to jump up the falls into dundee lake... none of them made it but they were pretty big fish but I couldnt make out what they were.. anyone?

I can answer that for you. Well either you can wade across the river which in most parts this time of the year and especially now is literally ankle deep. Or you can risk being arrested by clifton police and walk back there along the turbine which is protected by the water commission.

skunkcity: I actually met you last year at two bridges in that parking area I was driving the eclipse. Well have to get out one day on the kayaks above the falls.
