On the lake saturday at 5am to beat the heat. Threw spinnerbaits, senkos, rapalas, and white grubs on a jighead looking for bass. Wound up with over a dozen pickeral and no bass. Off the lake by 10am. Has anyone seen any bass in this lake recently? I have caught them there before with my first 5lber coming from this place but it seems like they have disappered in recent years. Since its only 10 minutes from home I wish it were better but I guess I have to travel for a better bite.

Did you fish from shore or from a boat, also any size to the pickerel. Always nice to try some non-Pine Barrens pickerel water.

There is some good size picks swimming in this lake. Its usually the first place of the year I land a fish(freshwater). Pickeral are without a doubt the dominant species. There is some shoreline access and a municpal park on the lake but this place is best fished by boat.

I fish the lake from a boat. Biggest pickeral landed was about 20". With all the weeds in this place I can see why they dominate. Treble hooks would be a waste of time cleaning weeds on most casts.

It has been quite some time since I fished that body of water. Fished from the shore by the Button Wood Manor parking lot. Plenty of small to medium size chain pickerel and small bullheads.
