Re: advice wanted
I always say go ! Leaves may be a bigger problem than water level. Always good to get out and move around.....beats working, never know what your gonna find. Time on the water is good.

Re: advice wanted
Looked OK when I come home from work about 4:30. What does the flow is 350 mean what kind of measurement is that?

Re: advice wanted
i think shucker is referring to the flow on the river. 350 CFS or cubic feet per second. And 350 is not too bad. at some point around 700 it becomes a little too tough to fish imho. there are meters on several of our rivers to measure volume flow and they are generally reported regularly.

Re: advice wanted
This is better than an American Express card for a trout fisherman...
Anytime it rains, you should check this to understand the waterflow of your stream and understand how fast it rises and falls... And not to mention this link is spot on and never fails... http://waterdata.usgs.gov/nj/nwis/rt |

Re: advice wanted
Pretty neat. Thanks Ely and Micheal for the info and the link. I always wondered where this info was coming from and what it meant.
