Default Manasquan Reservoir on 8/21

Got out to the reservior at about 6am. First cast landed me a 14" Small mouth on Senko whacky rigged on a drop shot.

Switched between baits for a couple more hours without a hit. Finally at about 9AM I took a LMB (12") on a texas rigged senko with drop shot.

edited to correct fish type

Picture looks like a smallmouth to me. Nice job.

Defintely a smallie. Take them anyday over a largemouth as they fight way harder.

Smallie! Great job. They seemed to be very elusive at the Squan.. but they are definitely there.
