Default Need help finding a afordable slip

I have had the boat in Belmar for the last 8 years now, I need to find a cheeper place to keep her. I lost my job last year and can not pay the $5200 slip fee. I started looking south around Wildwood.
If any one knows some place around $3500 or less please post info. The boat is a 34' with 12-6 beam.
I do not like to air my dirty laundry but, do not know the area marinas.

Generally the further north you go, the more expensive ($125/150 per foot). This is actually more than you seem to paying now.

If you go up river off the beaten path more prices drop. Like Raritan River in South River Boat Club it's MUCH cheaper. Even cheaper and further up is the Old Bridge Maaina

Or further south into Barnegat Bay.

The real issue is where you fish. A cheap marina could cost you way more than you save burning more fuel to get to where you want to be.

PM me if you want to talk specifics on northern NJ marinas. I've been to most all of them with the tow boat. Can't speak on exact prices, but pros and cons of that marina definitely.

Hound Dog I have a 34 ft.convertable I keep it in cape may I Pay $2300.00 I water $800 winter dry dock. I am At Bree Zee Lee A nice marine loaded with serious fisherman. They also charge $50.00 Per week for stripper season. There is a great mechanic and resturant on site. Also we are 1 mile from the ocean, and 4.5 from the delaware bay. The best of both worlds. 1-609-884-4849!!! Joe

If they have a slip open, Bree Zee Lee in Cape May will definitely be the lowest cost marina in that area. Snug Harbor right up the road is reasonable as well. Both locations are in a great spot to get to both the ocean and the bay. There are some good marinas up in Wildwood, but the ride to the bay gets very long from there.
