4/15/23 Deep Souf Toggin

Headed to the cape Saturday for a fun day of togging. Day started off with tons of bites just majority throwbacks. Around 11 the southerly swell of doom appeared outta nowhere & the bite seemed to really die. Sinkers felt alot warmer in the morning. Captain Tom had us on awesome bottom all day & the fish were down there they just got really scratchy. You'd go 10mins with no bite than get a scratch wait 5 more minutes scratch again just completely infuriating. Fish were caught on greens, whites & even clams but the clams also caught alot of dogs. I ended up with my limit & lord knows how many throwbacks. I also had the hooks pull on a pig but I wouldn't be the Peoples Champ if I actually landed the 20pounder. Devon had 2k & vince had 0, ended up with 14 for the boat Always fun & tommy is the best.
