PROWLER5 - 4/13 - STRIPED BASS REPORT

It was a good day for us. We had big crowd of customers with the 80 degree temperature and the great fishing we've been having. The first picture is Anthony Ilic of Boonton Township, NJ who won the pool today with a 40lber. John Rubash of Garfield, NJ caught a 39lber and we also had one other big fish that we released. We had a pretty slow morning, but we did get a nice shot of bass on readings that we found in the afternoon and then we got swamped with the boat traffic. We did get into double digits on keepers and we released 3 the big fish. We did not have a boat limit today like the last couple of trips but we were able to put some big bass in the boat. It felt like a summer day in July with all the boat traffic today. I guess we shouldn't complain, the weather has been great. We will definitely be sailing every day for the rest of the month. This has been some great bass fishing for this time of the year. We'll see you guys in the morning.
