Default Friday Shark River

Left the dock with a short window, due to prior commitments. Pulled out into 56.2 degree water on the start of the outgoing. Once again cool and foggy.

Started our 1st drift about a minute from the dock at 7:30, and drifted slowly to the east with the tide. First 45 minutes slow pickins, with a short here and there. As the fog broke and the outgoing took over the water started to warm.
We started with a few slots and one over. Water got over 59 and the bite improved by 9:30 we had a 3 man limit with 3 overs and 6 slots. Over's all nice 19-21 inch fish. Lost a bigger fish to a main line breaking, fish was digging under the boat.

All fish caught on bucktail and teaser rigs tipped with spearing. Water clarity was marginal at best about 4 foot.

Everyone have a safe and enjoyable holiday weekend, and remember all those that we lost.
