PROWLER5 BLACKFISH REPORT- WED- DEC 15th 2021

Hey gang we were out today with 13 customers. We got out in the ocean and had a wicked sea with wind against a strong outgoing tide. When we arrived at the fishing grounds the hardest part was to get our anchors out and get them to hold which we were able to do.We had good fishing for the first 2 and ac1/2 hours with good action on nice keeper togs and shorts. But then the day got harder for us when we decided to go to another drop. We were able to get our port anchor back in the boat, but we lost our starboard anchor when it was straight-up-and-down due to the rough seas. The line snapped and it was gone. Kudos to Marko he had to come up top and get the spare anchor hook it up and then put it all back together in those rough conditions, for which he did a great job. Then we anchored up and finished the day with a pretty decent bite.The guys were great on the boat today everyone fished hard at the rail all day and everyone made a catch. We had a very nice ride in on the way home as everything settled down nicely. I know the guys will sleep good tonight and that goes for me and Marko as well.We'll see you in the morning.
