April Blackfishing Recap

I have to say it was a pretty good season for us on the Obsession and a nice break from all the Rona mental and financial pressures for sure .. Truth be told had known what was in store for me/us these past few months, I probably wouldn't have launched the boat at all but since we got in before all this it i$ what i$ and I'm thankful for the time on the water.

On a brighter note, the Blackfishing was outstanding!! Most every trip we had our boat limit easily, released most of what we caught and kept a few for the table.

Tim AKA "Sven of The Hook" was on fire and had 5 Double Digits to his credit this April right around the 15 to 16 pound mark all released safely. Pretty much all on jigs and white leggars and clams were the ticket. Me and Joey Dah Fish.... Well lets just say we had a few nice fish but for the most part, we played photographer for Sven.

All in all a great season and my sincere regrets that many of our sponsors we're unfortunately tied to the docks and many other boaters were left on the hard because of Marina closings

Hope this is over sooner rather than later and we get back to normal, whatever that new normal is going to be..
