Default 4/25 Bass....

Hit Round Shoal for 4 hours of the incoming pulling Stretches and X-Raps. Schoolie city for us with bass going from 16-26”. What we lacked in size we made up for in quantity. Knock downs every few minutes with many coming unbuttoned half way to the boat.
Action slowed with the tide and decided to jig shads on marks. Picked a few right off the bottom before calling it a morning. Again nothing sizeable but I’ll take it for the shakedown run.
20-25 FOW was the ticket for us. Trolling against the tide was better than with. Surface temps 50-52. Small pods of bunker in close but none out in open water.
On a side note, been fishing with these guys since they both were 6 yrs old. And thankfully they are still at it! Tight lines guys stay safe.

BTW. added an Edson knob over the winter and have no idea how I went without one all these years!!!

Nice trip .

Made the run up there yesterday afternoon .
Flynn’s loaded with bait , and back was covered for miles.
Nothing on them .
Trolled same area as you , then triangle, finished at Flynn’s heading home .
One hit .

Traffic in the back was pretty silly .
Guys driving right over peoples lines , then acting like it’s ok .

I had one idiot pull on top if my lines twice to live line driving right up the trolled lured almost to the back of my boat .

He got an earful for sure .
I almost wish he had got my line stuck in his prop and blew a seal for being such an idiot .

.

Capt Dan, that why I hate going out on the weekends. The lack of respect and stupidity is at all time high.
I try to go during the week by taking a vacation day every so often.
Hoping to get boat back from shop on Tuesday am then go out for a soak
