good start to ice season '17-'18

Iced a couple of nice fish in the first few trips this ice season. off to a good start: 35" pike, 24.5" pickerel, 13" perch

Fishing has been slow in general, but nicer sized fish always trumps quantity in my book

Hahaha!!! Good start there pork chop! I’m 41! I’m a contractor, I don’t have a cushy indoor job like you and I’m not off half the year. Oh and I have kids, I don’t shoot blanks like most of my fishing comrades, LOL! After beating up my body fixing other people’s homes I think it’s about time I live in the lap of luxury with a shanty and heater! So take that and shove it in your hat and eat it!!!

Great looking fish! Have to say, after being out this weekend I gave in and split a shanty with my friend.. praying it’s here before this weekend
