![]() After striking out at the Musky a few weeks ago and then at the south and north branches last week, I was beginning to think I was never going to shake the fall trout skunk. Then yesterday, while out running errands, I stopped by my local Union County ‘duck pond’ and landed a nice fall stocky within minutes. A white trout magnet was the ticket, I watched the trout inhale it almost at the bank as I was reeling it in. I also saw a good sized largemouth as I beat the banks but my rapala only managed to spook the fish and send it back into the depths.

![]() Plenty O' trout in the Musky, N and S branches, concentrate on the deep holes.
At least you finally got one ! |

![]() Glad more people are having success!
North Branch has been a bit tricky for me too, I've only landed one and it was out of a hole a ways away from a stocking point, the monsoon we had after the stocking really did move em around good. |
