First cast 2 lb 15 oz
Went fishing 🎣 in the 55.4 degrees Millstone River on the north shore in Plainsboro, NJ, yesterday evening on a warm, cloudy ☁ day with a moderate southerly breeze. There was one fisherman on the dam and one fisherman on the Aqueduct. Lots of duck weed was on the water. Canada geese, mallards 🦆, and double crested cormorants were flying. Two muskrats swam upstream. Took pictures. Threw out Walmart canned whole kernel corn 🌽 for chum, then caught a 17.5” 2 lb 15 oz common carp on my first cast of the day with corn 🌽 bait. Lost a catfish at night. Didn’t get a hit while ultralight jigging.
