Midshore has its time in, depends on if the bait is there: ie: sand eels & such...and water temps...I guess the "hambone", "hot dog" & the "triple wrecks" to name 3, still have their weekenders. They were always wall to wall boats back in the day. This year the Atlantic storms have the water churned up with no breaks from the canyons to the beach.
Some of the spots off Jersey always seem to attract tuna much like the inshore green water fisheries.
In short, sometimes yea, sometimes nay.
