I experimented with a protectant with PTFE in it. THE ABSOLUTE BEST!
I think and supposedly does give the hull even better hydrodynamics. Less water drag.
I was supposedly banned in yacht racing for that reason. And it used to be prohibited in some shipping methods. Not cheap.
But unearthly qualities.
