Default First hardwater trip of the season

Finally got the green light with my fingers and went out on the first hardwater trip for me this season. Saturday night swung for the fences with big baits in hope of a good like but had nothing to show for an all day sit.

Sunday switched the leaders over and targeted some smaller water blocked from the wind found 4” of ice and set up shop. Flags were flying really good in the morning slow in the afternoon then good again in the evening. Large shiners did the trick. Felt good to be back in action after a few weeks outta the game with my sausage fingers as Eddie would call em. Hope to we get a good long ice season and get to enjoy it. For those wishing to get out I am running trips while there’s good safe ice if you’re interested. Good luck to evreyone headed out and be safe!
