Fished F&G's redheaded step child today. Saw a coyote in Bridgewater during early morning recon. Hit Somerville, Manville, Bridgewater and Raritan Borough. Did manage 2 small SMB in Manville and 1 trout in the big run below the Headgates, saw 2 bald eagles today also.
Looks like the Raritan will get it's annual walleye stocking of less than one fish again this year while the Delaware river will get 300,000+ walleye from NJ. Also saw the hatchery truck heading down past Atlantic City to deliver more big trout to the scum ponds down there, not here. At least we'll get our 3,000 trout in the spring while the Rahway river will get 12,000 trout. Well, we have our SMB at least.
