We left the dock fairly early and the bay and ocean where calm. Ran 23 kts and was fishing within a hour of leaving the barn. We caught some nice sized sea bass, ling and one lonely fluke! Fished anywhere from 60-80 ft of water with either rocks or hard bottom structure. Drifting was the was to go. Chicken rig and 6' Gulp did the trick. We wound up keeping 5 sea bass between 13"-16" for a nice amount of fillets. Get out there while the sea bass season is still open! Tight Lines!
